The Last Supper is delicate and careful, full of ‘The lightness of being’ yet still has that Young style of the finding the hint and tone of the other side. The red light amongst the glow symbolising Judas, temptation or the more obvious aspects of the Blood of Christ.
This work made for and Exhibited in The Blake Prize is one of five glass sculptures following the main themes in Young’s work. ‘This Body of work is about Faith, faith in life, faith in love, faith in faith.
Everything of value is defenceless’
